A brief on MH CET

If you are eying for MH CET Law 5-year LLB course, you must go through the MH CET Law Syllabus 2024 which is English, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics. MH CET Law 2024 exam for the 3-year LLB course was conducted online on March 12 and 13, 2024, at allotted test centres. MH CET Law 3-Year LLB Eligibility Criteria 2024:

· The candidates must have passed the graduation exam in any discipline.

· Candidates appearing in the qualifying exams in the exam year may also apply.

· General category candidates belonging to Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% marks.

· SC/ST candidates belonging to Maharashtra must have an undergraduate degree with a minimum aggregate score of 40%.

· VJNT, SBC and OBC must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 42%.

Note:

· Candidates who completed Class 10 and Class 12 at an open school or through distance learning but did not have regular basic education from Class 1 to 10 are ineligible for the MH CET Law.

How to apply for MH CET Law?

· Go to CET Cell Maharashtra’s official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.

· Click on “New Registration” tab to register for the MH CET Law exam.

· Already registered candidates need to click on the “Already Registered” tab and proceed with the application process.

· After completing the MH CET Law registration, log in again.

· Fill out the MH CET Law application form.

· Upload your passport-size photo and signature.

· Submit the application fee.

· Save, review and then submit the application form.

MH CET Law Result – Normalization of Marks

The State CET cell, Maharashtra undertakes normalization of marks in the MH CET Law 2024 exam through percentile score computation method to ensure fairness in the examination. The MH CET Law 2024 normalization of marks is a process through which scores are adjusted for candidates who appeared in the different shifts of the exam. Due to multiple factors, the difficulty level in each shift varies and to ensure fairness, the CET cell normalises scores of candidates. The normalization of scores is done to ensure candidates are neither disadvantaged nor benefitted due to differences in the difficulty level of different shifts. MH CET Final Answer Key 2024

The State CET Cell has released a detailed analysis of the objections received and resolved against the MH CET 3-year provisional answer key. The State CET cell received a total of 105 unique objections and 35 objections were approved and resolved in total. A total of 14 objections from Legal Aptitude, two from General Knowledge, nine from Logical and Analytical Reasoning and 10 from English were approved and resolved. A detailed analysis of the objections received and resolved has been given in the table below:

The State CET Cell will conduct the MH CET Law 2024 counselling a few days after the announcement of the results. The counselling of MH CET 3 and 5-year LLB will be held in online mode.
