B.A., LL.B. Course Details

The B.A., LL.B. is an integrated dual-degree course combination of Bachelor’s Degree programmein Arts along with a Bachelor’s Degree in law. Candidates admitted to this programme will be taught subjects in Arts during the first two years and from the third year the law subjects are integrated in the curriculum. Each academic year is divided into two semesters.The duration of the course shall be five academic years consisting of 10 semesters. Medium of Instruction is in English. Library

The Library is the heart of the academic institution and plays a very important role in the life of each and every student. The Kristu Jayanti College of Law is having vast collections of law books, Journals, magazines, Central Acts and Rules, etc. At present, the library contains 54,768 books. The Library with facilities as reading room, Wi-Fi, Discussion Room will be kept open from 8.30 am to 7.00 pm on all working days and from 8.30 am to 1.00pm on Saturdays

Moot Court Hall

A Moot Court helps in simulating the proceedings in a court with the appropriate ambience. The college is having well-furnished Moot Court Hall where all the students of LL.B. programme will be trained to participate in National and International Moot Courts.

Kristu Jayanti College Scholarship 2024

To help students with their finances, Kristu Jayanti College offers scholarships to students who are outstanding in academics, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities or belongs to the Divyang category. It offers four scholarship schemes, which are listed below:

Jayantian Achievement Scholarship (JAS): JAS offers a sum of INR 10,000 every year to students who are excellent in their academics. To avail of this scholarship, BCom /BBM / BA /BSc students should secure at least 75 per cent aggregate and students pursuing BSc (Life Science)/ BCA programmes are required to obtain at least 80 per cent aggregate.

Jayantian Talent Scholarship (JTS): To encourage students to outperform in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, the college offers a JTS scheme that provides INR 10,000 to the students who have represented the college and won at least one prize at the University/ State/ National level competitions. The minimum eligibility criteria for this scholarship entails securing at least 60% aggregate & a minimum of 85% attendance.

Jayantian Upliftment Scholarship (JUS): Students are required to obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate, & 85% attendance to avail of this scholarship. Each eligible student shall be awarded INR 10,000.

Jayantian Determination Scholarship (JDS): JDS assists Divyangjan students for INR 20,000.

Note: To avail of these scholarships, applicants have to produce a certificate issued by the competent authority.
