Duration: 60 Months

Bachelor of Business Administration + Bachelor of Law (BBA LLB) is five-years (10 Semesters) full-time Integrated programme in Law offered by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune with the approval of Bar Council of India (BCI).

Eligibility for B.B.A. LL.B

Prospective candidates who have passed the H.S.C. examination (10+2) or equivalent, conducted by Higher Secondary School Examination Board of the State of Maharashtra or any other examination recognized equivalent to H.S.C. (10+2) by the Savitribai Phule Pune University or any other recognized University with a minimum 45% aggregate is eligible to apply for admission to the Course, For the SC/ST category students,5% is relaxed for admissions vide Savitribai Phule Pune University Ref. No. CBL/ 4168 dated 18/08/2000 and BCI’S Ref. No. LE (cir) No. 3/2000 dated 01/07/2000.
Admissions will be regulated through Common Law Entrance test (MHT CET) conducted by Maharashtra State.

Aims and objectives of the cell – Placement Cell is established with the following aims & objectives:

Aims

To conduct an induction program with reference to placements for students.
To conduct various career enhancement activities like soft skill workshops, workshops relating to traditional law practice.
To recommend students for various internship activities at Law Firms and other organizations along with recommendation letters.
To maintain the records with reference to Internships and placements of students.

Objective

The objective of cell is to make students aware of various career dimensions available in legal field and make opportunities available for them to initiate their professional career.

The objective is to prepare students for traditional court practice by conducting various collaborative activities with law firms and legal professionals. Students are encouraged to participate in various professional and networking events organized by law firms and other corporate entities.

Landmark activities are done under a cell –

Internship Activity – Students are provided with internship at various law firms and organizations to make students ready for traditional court practice. More than 600 students have completed internships with more than 100 Law firms and Advocates respectively.

Placement Activity – College has provided recommendation of students for placement in various companies as well as academic verification. College has conducted various soft skill training sessions for the students every year.

Lex Opus – Lex means Law and Opus means Work. Lex Opus is a lecture Series initiated by Placement Cell from year 2022. The lecture series included guest lecture on traditional court practice, opportunities available in legal field, competitive exams for law students etc.

Library is an integral part of Modern Law College’s culture. It has become the lively hub where students spend a considerable amount of time every day. All of the collections had been meticulously planned from the beginning. A student can find everything from textbooks and reference materials to journals, and legal magazines at the library.

Modern Law College is popular for its legal literature in addition to infrastructure, teaching, and research excellence. The library shares equal responsibility in making MLC an excellent law college. The library fosters the pursuit of academic excellence. The vision of the library is to be a knowledge hub providing efficient services.

It spreads over ground floors with a seating capacity for 120 readers at a time. The library has a vast collection of more than 10,000 volumes of books, law reports and has subscribed 42 print journals, newspapers, reference books, and e-books. Modern Law College library has huge resources in the field of law and other allied subjects such as Management, Sociology, Research Methodology, Science and Technology, History, Economics, Political Science, and English Literature.
