Candidates aspiring to join either Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA. LL.B.) or Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (BBA. LL.B.) Programme offered by Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, is required to mandatorily take the ‘Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)’. SLAT will be conducted in an online mode (CBT) across various cities of India.

Symbiosis Law School, Noida Selection Process

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET Law) is a law entrance test conducted by Symbiosis National University for admission in the Law programs.

· Symbiosis Law School, Noida Selection process has a total of two stages: SET and PI-WAT which consists of Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Aptitude Test (WAT).

· Candidates who will be shortlisted by Symbiosis Law School, Noida on the basis of SET Law Score will be called in for PI-WAT.

· The final merit list will be prepared on the scale of 100 marks by the Institute on the basis of marks scored in SET Exam and PI-WAT process.

· SET Exam is scaled down to 50 marks (50%). Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test is of 30 and 20 marks respectively.

· Candidates who will attend all tests of selection process shall be considered as eligible for generation of the Merit List.

· Aspirants who remain absent for any one of the tests will be considered as ineligible for admission process for any of the law program at SLS, Noida.

· Admission to all the courses is done on the basis of the final merit list.

Moot court society

SLS-NOIDA strives to inculcate research aptitude in learners by constantly acquainting them with historical judgments, case analysis, discussions and legal web bases. The learners at SLS-NOIDA become adept at courtroom etiquettes and advocacy skills through the courtroom and related exercises such as Moot Court, Mock Trials, Drafting of Pleadings and Client Counseling.

Mooting as an activity aims to inculcate and improve the research, presentation and argument talent into students so as to equip the budding pleaders with all the court-room etiquettes, research experience and advocacy skills. At Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, it is a key co-curricular activity wherein the presentation skills and talents in argument of students are screened and further notified about their level in the competition on a regular basis. This initiative is well supported and effectively carried out by a dedicated Moot Court Society.
