SLAT 2024 Eligibility – Seats and Reservation Policy

The four SLS colleges under the Symbiosis umbrella have different student intakes with a combined seat availability of 1080 seats. However, law schools also have a reservation policy as per government norms. The SLAT eligibility criteria varies across the reserved categories. Reserved category candidates are required to produce the relevant certificate to claim seats under the reservation policy. Failure to do so can lead to the admission being revoked.

SLAT Merit List 2024

Symbious International University will prepare the SLAT 2024 merit list for all the Symbiosis Law Schools. The merit list of SLAT 2024 will be the basis of admissions for students. Candidates who will qualify SLAT entrance exam will then be required to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The merit list will then be prepared based on the combined performance of the candidates in all the selection processes. The entrance exam, WAT and PI, all three have different weightage in the merit list.

Modes of Application Fee Payment

Online fee payment: Candidates can submit their application fee in online or offline mode. Candidates opting for online payment can use credit cards, debit cards or net banking options.

Offline payment: For offline fee payment for the SLAT exam, candidates have to submit the demand draft from a nationalized bank (like SBI, or Canara Bank) in favour of the “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune. The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the demand draft and will send an email confirming the payment to the candidate.

SLAT Admit Card 2024

The SIU will issue the SLAT 2024 admit card on April 25, 2024, for test 1 and on April 30, 2024, for test 2. The admit card will be issued to those candidates who register and complete the fee payment. The admit card of SLAT 2024 will be issued through the SET registration portal. The admit card will also have the exam centre name, address and instructions printed on it. The SLAT 2024 admit card is a compulsory document which must be carried to the exam hall by the candidate on the exam day.
