SLS Pune offers Graduate, Post Graduate, Diploma and Certificate courses in various disciplines of legal studies. It has been selected by Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of India to award scholarships for SC/ ST students.

Applications for admissions have to be submitted online.
For admissions to five year Integrated LLB courses, candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board
Admissions to these courses will be through Symbiosis Entrance Test followed by SLS Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview
For admission to 3 year LLB course, candidates who have completed graduation are eligible to apply. Admissions will be through Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

These are conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across various cities of India.

Placement at SLS Pune

Application Procedure

A candidate needs to register for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) & also register for Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA offering his/ her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees.

Step I:

Candidate must complete the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) online registration process and pay Rs. 2250/- as a SLAT Registration Fees.

Step II:

Candidate must register for Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA by offering his/ her choice of programmes i.e. BA. LL.B. | BBA. LL.B., by paying programme registration fees of Rs. 1000/- per programme, as applicable.
Aspirants can now complete the SLAT 2024 as well as programme registrations ‘Online’ in the same portal.

Selection Procedure

Selection is done in two phases:

Candidates will be short listed on the basis of the SLAT score.

The short listed candidates will be invited for Personal Interaction which will take place in Online Mode.

Final Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of SLAT Score (70%) and PI performance (30%). In other words, it will be based on the cumulative marks scored on the scale of 100 marks wherein SLAT score will be scaled up to 70 marks i.e. 70% weightage and the remaining 30% weightage will be assigned as follows: Personal Interaction (PI) – 30 marks i.e. 30%.

Eligibility

The candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) standard examination from any government-recognized board with minimum 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes). Students who have appeared for their H.S.C finals and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date.

Intake:

The total intake is 300 seats, which includes 180 seats for BBA.LL.B. and 120 seats for BA.LL.B.

Symbiosis Law School, Pune a constituent of Symbiosis International University is devoted to the progression of knowledge, learning and understanding in the service of society. The principle body entrusted with the responsibility of managing and conducting the Campus Recruitment in Symbiosis Law School, Pune is the Career & Professional Development Cell. We provide various opportunities so as to ensure a growth oriented student development process. As a part of this, the students are trained, groomed and chiselled to be the best with the combination of managerial and leadership skills and a broad range of professional skills such as advocacy, legal services, legislation, law reforms and advisory.

Recruitment process

After years of rigorous training and internship exposure, it is important that skills and the knowledge of our students are put to fine use. The task of ensuring this endeavour is taken up by the Career & Professional Development Cell.

Training and Development Programmes

Increasingly, law firms and chambers recruit applicants who have a portfolio of specific skills to equip them to succeed in legal practice. While talking to the graduate recruitment managers of leading law firms about what they look for in desirable candidates, need to reform it.

Career & Professional Development Cell also endeavours to provide such opportunities to all batches of students to develop skills important for legal professionals.

Resume Writing Workshop

A Resume Writing Workshop was organised by the Career & Professional Development Cell on 7th August, 2017 the speaker of which was a representative of Talent Bridge Technologies Ltd. It was organised for the 5th year BBA LLB students. The workshop was very significant since only few days are left for the various companies to start their recruitment process. The workshop was a great learning experience for the students. All of them participated enthusiastically and managed to clear their doubts regarding Resume Writing.

The workshop was like an eye-opener for the students. Mr. Rohit Lalwani told the students the importance of quality over quantity. He highlighted the importance of not glorifying yourself unnecessarily, but being honest about what you are. He talked about how achievements are not just about winning moots and prizes, but also volunteering for an NGO and helping others. He suggested the students to list achievements relevant to the job and the firm they are applying to. He also advised them to avoid beliefs and judgemental statements. Most importantly he told them to proof-read their Resume at least twice.
