Candidates aspiring to join either Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA. LL.B.) or Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (BBA. LL.B.) Symbiosis Law School, Noida Selection Process

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET Law) is a law entrance test conducted by Symbiosis National University for admission in the Law programs.

· Symbiosis Law School, Noida Selection process has a total of two stages: SET and PI-WAT which consists of Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Aptitude Test (WAT).

· Candidates who will be shortlisted by Symbiosis Law School, Noida on the basis of SET Law Score will be called in for PI-WAT.

· The final merit list will be prepared on the scale of 100 marks by the Institute on the basis of marks scored in SET Exam and PI-WAT process.

· Candidates who will attend all tests of selection process shall be considered as eligible for generation of the Merit List.

· Aspirants who remain absent for any one of the tests will be considered as ineligible for admission process for any of the law program at SLS, Noida.

SLAT 2024 Admit Card: Important Items to Carry on Exam Day

Candidates appearing in the SLAT 2024 exam must carry a valid admit card and a government-approved identity card. Along with these, they can also carry some other items such as transparent water bottles, and pens. The complete list of items one should carry to the SLAT exam centre is below.

Symbiosis Law School, Noida: Application Process 2024

Symbiosis Law School, Noida application procedure is carried out in online mode. The applicant must register online for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET Law). SET Law is a university level examination organized by the Symbiosis International University (SIU) for a total of 720 BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes offered in three law school of Symbiosis located in Pune, Noida and Hyderabad.

SET Application Process begins with the registration procedure. After the registration procedure is completed, candidates will enter the details required for the application form. Lastly, they have to make payment of SET Application Fee.

Here are the steps to apply to SET Law:

· Go to the http://www.set-test.org/law-school-noida.html

· Click on ‘New Registration’ link. Read the instructions and click on ‘I Agree’ button.

· Fill in the details required such as Name, Gender, contact details, valid email id, mobile number, etc.

· Click on ‘save and continue’ button.

· Candidates will have to choose a password and hint question to recover the password.

Selection Procedure

Selection is done in two phases:

· Candidates will be short listed on the basis of the SLAT score.

· The short listed candidates will be invited for Personal Interaction which will take place in Online Mode.

Final Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of SLAT Score (70%) and PI performance (30%). In other words, it will be based on the cumulative marks scored on the scale of 100 marks wherein SLAT score will be scaled up to 70 marks i.e. 70% weightage and the remaining 30% weightage will be assigned as follows: Personal Interaction (PI) – 30 marks i.e. 30%.

The four SLS colleges under the Symbiosis umbrella have different student intakes with a combined seat availability of 1080 seats. However, law schools also have a reservation policy as per government norms. The SLAT eligibility criteria varies across the reserved categories. The SIU will issue the SLAT 2024 admit card on April 25, 2024, for test 1 and on April 30, 2024, for test 2. SLS Pune Admission Process 2024

Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune admission is entrance-based. The law school offers around seven courses at UG, PG, diploma, certificate, and PhD level. Symbiosis International University (SIU) conducts the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) and All India Admission Test (AIAT) for admission to some of the law programmes. However, candidates looking forward to practising Law in India, are required to clear the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) conducted by BCI. On clearing the AIBE exam, lawyers are awarded a ‘Certificate of Practice’ which is mandatory for practising the profession as an advocate in India.

Basic Eligibility to Study Law

· Three-year LLB entrance exams: There is no upper age-limit for admission. However a candidate must be at least 17 years of age on the date of application. A graduation degree with 45% marks (40% for reserved category) is the basic qualification required.

Since 2018, SET – Law test is known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). This is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across various cities of India.

A candidate needs to register for SLAT 2024 & also register for the institutes offering his/ her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. If shortlisted, he/she would then need to attend the further admission process conducted by each of these institutes individually.

Candidates are fully and solely responsible to provide correct information during the application process. If it is found that any information provided by the candidate at the time of filling / submitting the application form is not true, SIU has the right to cancel the application or admission, at any stage, in accordance with its rules and regulations.
